Alison Picard is a photographer, multi-media artist and organizer whose focus is centered on narrative--framing new ones, revealing existing ones, and honoring the power in relating each other’s experiences through witness and collaboration. Her work over the last four years consists of both candid and staged portraiture, collaborative conceptual series, documentary work, promotional photography, and the Bloodhound Photobooth. Picard has lived in Massachusetts, Montréal, Brooklyn, and now calls Portland, Oregon home. In January 2010, Picard was interviewed in the Montreal-based journal or arts and culture No More Potlucks.
